NONGPOH: The Poshan Maah 2019 Mela, organised by the District Programme Officer, ICDS cell East Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi District, was inaugurated by R.M Kurbah, Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi at NSCA Mini Stadium Nongpoh, on Tuesday, in the presence of Wanphrang Syiem Sordar of Nongpoh Elaka as the guest of honour, D.Phawa MCS, Assisatnt Deputy Commissioner, M. Mawrie DM&HO and others.
More than 16 stalls from different departments showcased their food delicacies in the programme. Other who spoke on the occasion included R. Lyngdoh, Board Director Impulse NGO Network, H. Diengdoh, Election Branch and E. Lyngdoh, ICDS.
The first, second & third prizes for healthy tiffin box were given to St. Paul’s HS, St. Mary’s Sec. School and Christian HS.
The best stall was awarded to the Health Department, Nongpoh.
