Nongpoh: One person died on the spot while another was injured when a landslide struck them while they were loading earth on a pick-up vehicle at Umran Niangbyrnai, in Ri bhoi on Friday.
21-year-old Romario Wahlang from Mawkhap village was covered under the earth while his friend Justin Lyngdoh from Umran Dairy received minor injuries in the incident.
