NONGSTOIN: The District Level National Science Congress was held in Trysem Hall, DC’s office with the theme ‘Science Technology and Innovation for a clean Green and Healthy Nation’ on Wednesday. It was organised by the District Planning Office with the State Council for Science Technology and Environment, Meghalaya, Shillong with many schools from Nongstoin taking part.
The objective of the programme was to select students for the State level competition at the end of the month.
The winners of the state level will get the chance to participate at the national level NCSC 2019 in December. The competition’s main objective was to instill in students the love for science and to be broad minded.
While Anderson Higher Secondary School won first place, KJP Synod Higher Secondary School secured second place and Borsing Memorial Higher Secondary School took the third place.
