Body recovered with head, feet missing

SHILLONG: Police recovered a highly decomposed male body with its head and feet missing from Spread Eagle Falls last month.
Police on Friday said that the body was recovered on September 24, but so far no one has turned up for its identification.
It is difficult to say whether the person was murdered or not as things will be clear only after the post-mortem report is ready, the police added.
The inquest and all other legal formalities have been observed and the body has been kept at the morgue of Shillong Civil Hospital. Anyone who can identify the person can contact Rynjah Police station at 0364-2230402.
