NONGSTOIN: The Deputy Commissioner (Election) of West Khasi Hills district informed the eligible voters that special summary revision of photo electoral rolls with reference to January 1, 2020, as qualifying date and draft photo electoral roll for Nongstoin, Rambrai Jyrngam, Mawshynrut Assembly constituencies are available for inspection at the office of the Electoral Registration Officer/Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, and also displayed at all prominent locations (polling stations).
Claims and objections of wrong inclusions or left-out voters can be filed by any eligible elector to the office of the electoral registration officer/assistant electoral registration officers/booth level officers/supervisor officers in every polling stations from October 15 to November 30 in prescribed forms available free of cost.
The official said that January 17, 2020, is the final publication of electoral rolls.
