TURA: Prime Minister Modi was for once faced with a query, not from politicians or reporters, but a child of eight years.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma’s eldest daughter, Amara, while greeting the Prime Minister told him that she wanted to know what he would do for the future of children like her in the country.
A class 3 student of Sanskriti School in Delhi, Amara had followed her father to meet with the country’s premier in his office in Delhi on Tuesday.
“In reply our Prime Minister asked her what she wanted to be in life and said ‘based on that I will tell you what I will do'” revealed Sangma while narrating to The Shillong Times the interaction between Modi and his little daughter.
According to Sangma, his daughter told the Prime Minister she was yet to decide to which Modi smiled and said, “When you decide let me know and I will tell you what I will do for you and the children of our country.”
“She found the interaction with the Prime Minister very exciting and came away happy from the experience,” informed Sangma.
