SHILLONG: The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, a Maharatna PSU company, has undertaken various initiatives towards sustainable development with perceived social responsibility at different locations of their operational areas.
Recently, under the CSR scheme for 2018-19, the Powergrid 132 KV Khliehriat Substation group handed over two projects to the district administration of East Jaintia Hills.
The projects include a special purpose vehicle for disaster management along with a high mast lighting at the Khliehriat market.
