SHILLONG: Members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence matters led by the Chairperson, Jual Oram, paid a two-day visit to Shillong on Thursday. The Committee members undertook a review of the functioning of various establishments of the Ministry of Defence including Headquarters Eastern Air Command, Headquarters 101 Area, Border Roads Organisation and Cantonment Board, Shillong.
The delegation complimented and expressed satisfaction on the achievements of the various defence establishments visited by them.
