AROH celebrates Children’s Day

SHILLONG: A Children’s Day programme was organised by AROH foundation in collaboration with HDFC Bank ltd., at Mawkalang village under Laitkroh block on Thursday.
The programme also paid tribute to former Prime Minister Jawahalal Nehru and was hosted by the AROH team.
In their address to the gathering, the project coordinator and project manager of AROH encouraged the children to work hard and to bring light and prosperity to the nation.
A variety of games were conducted such as quizzes, musical chair and concentration level games.
Around 28 children took part in the programme along with the teachers of Mawkalang Presbyterian School including the residents of the village and members of AROH.
