Free training
The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills has informed that there will be free training in Computer Basic at Bosco Pnar Multi Purpose Vocational Training Centre, Jowai under the scheme grant-in aid from DC’s office, Khliehriat. The course will commence from January 7 to March 27, 2020. Interested candidates may collect the application form from Bosco Pnar, Jowai. Applications should reach by December 18 at 10 am. Unclaimed body
The Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Civil Hospital, Shillong informed that a male patient identified as Narayan Singh, 55, from Rynjah, Shillong, was admitted in the male medical ward-I, Bed No. 30 of Civil Hospital on October 27 and passed away on November 19. Concerned relatives are requested to collect the body from the hospital morgue within a period of 3 days failing which it will be sent for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.
Natl Lok Adalat
The District Legal Services Authority, East Garo Hills, will be organising the National Lok Adalat at the District Court premises in Williamnagar from 10 am on December 14. Notices have been issued to all concerned parties to attend it.

The annual general meeting of the Meghalaya Pensioners Association will be held on November 28 at 11 am at the Seminar Hall, State Central Library.
Celebration
The St Anthony’s School Past Pupil Association (SASPPA) will assemble together Anthonians of the 1969 SSLC batch to celebrate the Golden Jubilee (1969-2019) and to have a get together and an interactive session to bridge the gap between the then and now on November 25.

On November 22 there will be a workshop on critical care management by Dr Roman Jaeschke from Poland from 5pm to 7pm.
