SHILLONG: Students of Lakreh Memorial School, Shillong, from classes 6 to 9, graduated with a long-term soft skills coaching programme conducted by Avenues on Saturday.
The programme has been launched in an effort to meet the rising demand for graduates possessing essential soft skills that will set the students apart in the competitive workspace.
Students were also taken through modules in self-worth, emotional awareness, personal values, decision-making, English and talent discovery.
Academic head at Avenues, Jasmine Laitflang urged the participants to build on their experiences outside of the school environment.
Moreover, Avenues will launch its 17th annual winter workshops in personal growth and communication skills for schoolchildren under the age of 16 years at its Shillong and Tura centres from December 8.
