Passenger assaulted
Bikash Das lodged a complaint that on November 23 around 8 pm, he hired one auto rickshaw (ML-08-3026) from Tura Bazar to Hawakhana and vice versa. However, instead of stopping the auto rickshaw at Tura Bazar, the driver drove to Na’kam Bazar, snatched cash Rs. 5,000 and forced him out of the auto rickshaw. As a result, the complainant sustained injuries.

Fraudulent transaction
Wanbhalang Rynjah lodged a complaint that between October 29 and November 4, unauthorised/fraudulent transaction amounting to Rs 21,786.82 took place from her SBI account.

Illegal coal transportation
On November 28 around 1:15 pm, police detected two trucks (AS-17B-5524 and NL-01L-0099) while transporting coal in violation of NGT order at Wahiajer village, West Jaintia Hills.

Theft
Ribanteilang Dkhar lodged a complaint that on November 27 evening, unknown miscreant(s) stole his laptop along with a charger, etc., from his scooty (ML-05Q-8730), which was parked at Mawkhar Main Road, Shillong.
