Office bearers
The Nangkiew Sports Social and Cultural Club, Lawsohtun appointed its office bearers on Tuesday for the year ending 2019-21. The club elected Rocus Kharshiing as president, Lamkhraw Kharbuli as secretary, Alfred L Lyngshiang as assistant secretary, Denzil Nongkynrih and Sachin Khongsit as sport secretaries, Remijius Lyngshiang as social & cultural secretary among other members.
Condolence
An emergent general body meeting of the Shillong Bar Association together with members of the Subordinate Judiclary was held at 1:30 pm on Monday in the premises of the Shillong Bar Association with E Kharumnuid, District and Sessions Judge, as Chairman, to condole the sudden demise of Ednelson Diengdoh, Advocate. Two minutes’ silence was observed as a mark of respect. It was also resolved to send copies of this resolution to the bereaved family.
