SHILLONG: UDP leader Bindo Lanong has asked Governor Tathagata Roy to resign from his post and join politics.
Lanong criticised the statement of governor that opposing CAB is height of stupidity. “The Centre has given exemption to Sixth Schedule areas in Meghalaya from the purview of CAB. This means that the governor is opposing this decision of the central government”, Lanong said.
According to Lanong, it would be better for the governor to join politics as he is interested in making political statements.
