SHILLONG: The Meghalaya State Olympic Association (MSOA) has postponed the Meghalaya Games to a later date in the wake of the ‘volatile situation’ prevailing in the state in protest against the citizenship bill.
The executive committee meeting of the association was held at the office of the MSOA, Lower Lachumiere on Thursday, to discuss the preparation of Meghalaya Games 2019, in which the committee unanimously resolved to postpone the event in the interest of the athletes and their safety.
