Mawkyrwat Marathon on Dec 27

Mawkyrwat: The Centre for Youth Development (CYD) will organise the ‘Mawkyrwat Great Marathon – II’ on December 27 at Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills District. Therefore, all marathoners from across the state and the country are invited to participate in the ‘Mawkyrwat Great Marathon, 2019’. Lyngdoh said that those who are interested to participate in the marathon may register themselves at the following places – Khasi Jaintia Press above Pariat Store in Motphran, Shillong, IGNOU Study Centre in Mawkhar, Shillong, MF Lyngdoh Sports Materials shop in Mawkyrwat and in the Seven Stars Shoes Corner shop in Mawkyrwat. Under-18 boys and girls should submit attested birth certificate at the registration centres. The last date for registration is December 23. He also informed that the marathon will start at 7:30 AM from Maharam Govt. Higher Secondary School, Mawkyrwat.
