Body recovered
Rilang Dkhar of Mutong village, East Jaintia Hills (EJH) lodged a complaint that on December 31, 2019, circa 11 am, his elder brother Nor Dkhar went to Rangad market, East Jaintia Hills, and did not return home since then. However, on January 4, his body was recovered from an abandoned coal mine near Rangad village, East Jaintia Hills.

Property damaged
Pratip Choudhury of Motphran, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on December 12, 2019, around 2.45 pm, miscreants broke the glass of his shop.

Three held
Shibait Donhi Suchiang lodged a complaint that on January 2, around 4.35 pm, three persons, namely, Risuklin Lamare, Pyrkhat Biam and Nishaphrang Shadap stole four heads of cattle from Thadmulum village, West Jaintia Hills. However, the Headman along with the village Elders apprehended the accused while attempting to transport the stolen cattle in a Bolero pick-up truck with the registration number ML-04C-4738.

Threatened
Rememberme Phawa of Wahiajer village, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on December 31, 2019, around 1 pm, Iaraplang Phawa (41) went to her godown, created nuisance and threatened her and others at the godown.

Burglary
Sudeep Rana lodged a complaint that on December 16, 2019, between 7 am and 8.30 am, miscreants broke into his house at Mawbah, Shillong and stole Rs. 2,30,000 and one mobile phone.

Batteries stolen
Babidul Islam of M/s Bharati Infratel Ltd., lodged a complaint that on the night of January 2, miscreants stole twenty-four batteries valued around Rs. 2 lakh from Airtel Tower site at Mookympad, East Jaintia Hills.

Theft
Prabhakar Paul lodged a complaint that on December 9, 2019, around 5.30 am, residents of Lower Barapathar, Shillong, apprehended Roby Lyngdoh, while he was attempting to commit theft.
