Abduction
Penesh Sangma lodged a complaint that on January 3, unknown persons went to his residence at Wa’tregre Songgittal (WGH) and took away his daughter in one Maruti Alto car to Jengjal GSU office and assaulted her.
Bike stolen
Perfect Star Marweiñ lodged a complaint that on January 3, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05-S-6421) from Umdud Majai village in East Khasi Hills.
Property damaged
Alvinia Nongrum lodged a complaint that on December 31, 2019, around 8.30 pm, miscreants broke the glass of her meat counter at Palace Restaurant, Motphran, Shillong and fled away.

Assault
Derrick Khymdeit and Bison Khymdeit lodged a complaint on January 6, that Kyrtong Mallai assaulted them at Umtham village in Ri Bhoi.
Sevestian Mallai and Fedrik Mallai lodged a complaint that on January 6, around 8.30 pm, Jackie Dorrick Khymdeit and Bison Khymdeit armed with lethal weapons went to Umtham village Ri Bhoi and assaulted Silvanus and Shibun Mallai, dismantled the shop and also threatened them with dire consequences.
Angi Mawlong lodged a complaint that on January 1, Kordor Mawlong and others assaulted him and Delling Mawlong at Mawlaiteng, East Khasi Hills.
Burningstar Mawlong lodged a complaint that on January 1, around 7.30 pm, a group of people which included Hanji Mawlong, Breit Mawlong, Angi Mawlong, Noverjune Mawlong, Nicodimus Mawlong, Delling Mawlong, Klinton Mawlong, Klanbor Mawlong, Jmor Mawlong, Nowa Nongbsap, Overgrain Mawlong, Lester Mawlong, Kitbor Mawlong and Wadbar Mawlong, entered the house of Merda Mawlong and Shkir Mawlong at Mawlaiteng, East Khasi Hills, with an intention to threaten their son. However, when they did not found him the group assaulted the women.
Francis Sohtun lodged a complaint that on January 1, around 5.15 am, eight persons namely, Jack Wanswett, Bicky Kharkongor, Stony Kharkongor, Willy Kharkongor, Pynio Kharkongor, Wanpynskhem Kharumnuid, Eddi Kharkongor and Bicky Lama assaulted the complainant and his friends Franky Sohtun and Benjamin Wankhar with khukri, etc., at Madanrting Taxi Stand, Shillong causing injuries to them.

Theft
Teibon Kurbah lodged a complaint that on January 4, around 1 pm, two persons, namely, Firstborn Nongsiej (24) and Biangdorlang L Nonglait stole her livestock (goat) from her residence at Lwai village East Khasi Hills.
Bhagat Yourorin lodged a complaint that on January 2, miscreants stole four tyres with rims of a dumper truck valued around Rs. 1,50,000 from Shella Bazar, East Khasi Hills.

Boys misbehave
Sonam D Shira lodged a complaint that on January 4, around 12 pm, while she was on the way to Tura with her husband, two boys, namely, Brendan D Brass and Sean Brass W Momin, who were travelling in a Ford Eco Sports (ML-08E-0727), blocked their way and when they had overtaken their vehicle, the boys displayed indecent gestures, shouted with filthy language and also recorded a video. In the same evening, Binny A Sangma, uploaded the video on Facebook and other social media, to defame her character.

Burglary
Sanjay Kumar Sharma lodged a complaint that on January 2, around 2.50 pm, miscreants stole materials valued around Rs. 16,900 from his quarter at Sadar PS Complex, Shillong.

Duped
Murari Ray lodged a complaint that in March, 2019, Lakshman Kumar Gupta, on the recommendation of his friend Ranjeet Kumar who deals in selling of used cars, called him over the phone and informed that one Maruti Dzire was available for sale at Rs. 2 lakh and also instructed him to pay Rs. 1 lakh in advance and the remaining amount after delivery of the vehicle. However, till date neither the vehicle was delivered nor the money was returned.
