Ri Bhoi cops recover body, nab two suspects

NONGPOH: Ri Bhoi Police found the body of a man lying on the roadside of National Highway-6 at 25 Mer near Shangbangla on Thursday. It was covered by a blanket. The deceased was identified as Sushil Gorai (35) hailing from Lapur Rangsagar, West Bengal.
Police informed that the deceased was missing for almost a week and his family members had even filed a missing complaint on January 12. It was also suspected that he was murdered prior to the recovery of his body.
After thorough investigation, the police also managed to nab two suspects, who may be involved in the incident. However, the police refused to give the names of the duo as investigation was still on.
