SHILLONG: The Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) – Meghalaya State Branch, on Saturday, held a candle light walk in various units in the state to commemorate the 200th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the founder and philosopher behind modern nursing. The TNAI will also hold various events throughout the year. WHO had designated 2020 as the ‘Year of the Nurse and Midwife.’
