NONGSTOIN: LG Nongsiej, former MDC of Nongstoin inaugurated the community hall of Block – VI, Upper New Nongstoin on Saturday.
The function was attended by the Headman of Upper New Nongstoin, HH Marwein, Secretary HK Lyngdoh, Head of Block – VI locality NM Syiemlieh, besides head of other localities and villagers.
The community hall was constructed under the MDC scheme of 13th Finance commission 2012 – 13, and the land was donated by Kolita Rngaid.
Speaking on the occasion, Nongsiej lauded the efforts of the head of the locality and the Dorbar that implemented the scheme accordingly.
He urged the villagers not to damage the properties.
