6 people with travel history from China detected in state

SHILLONG: The District Medical & Health Officer (DMHO), West Jaintia Hills has written to the DMHO of East Jaintia Hills for the surveillance of corona virus as information of six people with a history of travelling from China was received.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the DMHO, West Jaintia Hills said that two people from the district (Jowai) and four people from East Jaintia Hills (Khliehriat) have travelled from China as per the information from the State Surveillance Unit, Shillong.
The official requested to designate a staff to follow up on the matter and to submit daily report for 28 days starting from their arrival date.
