HYC warns edu institutions for fake job promises

SHILLONG: The Hynniewtrep Youth’s council (HYC) has warned private educational institutions to not mislead the youth by luring them to work outside after the completion of training.
In a statement issued here, the assistant education secretary of HYC, Enlang Sawian said that there are complaints from youth for being duped by the private institutions as after venturing outside the state, they come back disappointed. The HYC has received complaints including improper accommodation. Sawian said that the youth are saddened as they are being duped.
The HYC has threatened to take action against such institutions.
