SHILLONG: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) CEM, Latiplang Kharkongor said that he is waiting for the official approval order with regard to the Executive Members (EMs).
When contacted on Sunday, he said that they are waiting for the official approval order to reach him likely on Monday and said that the Governor has already approved the list of EC members of the KHADC.
The EMs are Lamphrang Blah, Ronnie Lyngdoh, Macdalyn Sawkmie, Mitchell Wankhar and Grace Mary Kharpuri for the post of Deputy CEM although she declined to rejoin the United Democratic Forum (UDF) coalition headed by Kharkongor.
She also handed over a letter to the Governor to not approve/appoint her as Deputy CEM.
