Theft
ED Ryntathiang lodged a complaint that on January 27 around 6:48 pm, one unknown miscreant stole metal scrap materials from the Directorate of Printing & Stationery, Shillong. However, the incident was caught on CCTV camera.
Godwin M Roy Lakiang lodged a complaint that on January 30 around 8 pm, unknown miscreant(s) stole half portion of his cement mixer machine from Mawiong Rim View Point, Shillong.
M Iawsai of Parm Building, Police Bazar, lodged a complaint that on January 30 around 9:30 am, unknown miscreant(s) broke into her house and stole cash Rs 2,20,000 and other expensive items.
S Bhattacharjee lodged a complaint that on January 30 night, unknown miscreant(s) broke into ETM, Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Shillong Branch at Crescen Building, and stole the cash vault containing Rs. 37,347, cheque of Rs. 39,976, Vodafone and Reliance data cards, etc.
On January 30 night, unknown miscreant(s) stole one scooty (AS-17K-5590) belonging to Shiba Das from Babupara, Tura.

Abdur Rezzak Ali lodged a complaint that on January 23, unidentified boys threatened him to vacate the vending place at GS Road, Shillong.
