GUWAHATI: In a bid to incorporate views of citizens in the upcoming Assam Budget 2020, the state finance department has taken to social media to invite ideas and suggestions from people.
“It’s with ardent anticipation that we announce that Assam Budget 2020 is going to be out soon and we invite your ideas and suggestions for the upcoming Budget. We are looking forward to your valued contributions so that together we can build a stronger and a better Assam,” the state finance department tweeted in its official Twitter handle.
It may be mentioned that the department has been underlining the need to make the state budget based on people’s opinions and suggestions.
Citizens can visit the department website, “finance.assam.gov.in”, to submit their suggestions online.
Suggestions can be made through “assam.mygov.in” as well on varied subjects including health, education, welfare, security and justice, environment, agriculture and industry, culture and heritage, infrastructure and others.
