Fire in illegal distillery claims one

SHILLONG: One person was charred to death in a fire at a liquor-making shed at Tiehbah village in Sohiong.
Police was informed about the incident on Saturday morning. The victim has been identified as Santara Nongbri of Wahnongkseh village.
The body was taken to Shillong Civil Hospital for postmortem and the matter is being inquired by the police.
