NONGSTOIN: The Porniangkhong Sport Social & Cultural Club, Nongstoin, organised a cultural programme, fully sponsored by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKs), on February 7.
As many as 8 groups contested in the cultural events in which Nongpyndeng Arts and Culture group emerged winner of traditional dance and phawar competition while Sengkynthei Block-III bagged the second position. In the traditional song competition, Rihun Lyngdoh was adjudged the winner.
In archery competition (group category), Mathius Marthong and Pyndaplang Paliar from IB PWD bagged first position and Abelstar Dkhar and group took the second position.
In the individual category, C Jyndiang came out as the winner and Twarles Ramsiej became the runner’s up.
