Admission under sports quota

Shillong: Talented players from the region will be screened by SAI on a date to be notified later for admission to Sports School under State Level Khelo India Centre administered by Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Laitkor Shillong  in athletics, archery and fencing. The aspiring player should be studying in any class from Class VI to IX and once selected they will be admitted at Assam Rifles Public School Laitkor, Shillong and the entire cost of boarding, lodging and cost of education will be borne by the ARPS. Altogether 100 talented players (50 boys + 50 girls) from North-East will be selected for admission. Interested candidates are requested to submit their applications on or before March 9. Forms are available in the District Sports offices. For further clarification, can contact Jasper Marak, Deputy Director, Sports and Youth Affairs, Shillong or the nearest District Sports Officer.
