JOWAI: Several NGOs including the KSU, FKJGP, HNYF and RBYF will hold a public meeting in East Jaintia to sensitise people on the impact of the Citizen Amendment Act (CAA) on the Khasi Pnar community and to seek their support on the demand of the Inner Line Permit (ILP) in the state.
The public meeting will be held at Kiang Nangbah Monument, Khliehriat at 11 am on Saturday.
The General Secretary, KSU Khliehriat Circle, Cherity Suja has urged the residents of the district to attend the meeting.
