NONGPOH: Ri Bhoi Youth Organisation (RBYO) General Secretary Kronding Nongbsap submitted his resignation on Monday.
Nongbsap is one of the frontal RTI activists of Ri Bhoi district.
Nongbsap, who has been exposing the alleged misappropriation of funds amounting to Rs 11.72 crore in the expansion of Umroi airport, said that he has decided to tender his resignation from the RBYO due to personal issues.
However, he will continue to engage as a social activist for the betterment of the society in his personal capacity.
