TURA: A special 15-day drive to enroll PM-KISAN beneficiaries under Kisan Credit Card , an income support scheme for landholder famer families, has been launched in the district, informed an official statement.
The ongoing campaign was initiated by the Centre from February 8 to provide benefit to the beneficiaries in mission mode to ensure coverage of maximum landholder farmers under Kisan Credit Card.
According to the statement, a simplified form has been developed for coverage of PM-KISAN beneficiaries who are auto-approved for KCC wherein they have to provide only the copy of the land record document and the crop sown, and approach their respective bank branches from where they are drawing PM-KISAN benefit for issue of KCC to them. Those with inactive KCC may approach the bank branch for activation for the purpose.
To facilitate PM-KISAN beneficiaries in filling up of form, common service centres have also been activated.
