Assault
Raj Kumar Upadhya lodged a complaint that on February 18, around 3 pm, five unidentified boys assaulted the complainant and his friend Mulal Barman at the site of one under construction bridge at Jaiaw, Shillong. As a result, the victims sustained injuries.

Break-in
Jaya Das lodged a complaint that on February 19, around 3 pm, one Mebankular Dhar broke into her residence at Postal Quarters, Nongmensong, Shillong and stole jewelries.

Theft
Akaha Santam lodged a complaint that on February 19, between 3.45 pm to 3.50 pm, miscreants stole Rs 33,000 from her work place at Delhi Mistan Bhandar, Police Bazar.
JM Umdor, Executive Magistrate, Sohra Civil Sub-Division, East Khasi Hills, lodged a complaint that on February 19, miscreants stole a mobile phone from her bag at GS Road, Police Bazar.

Caught red-handed
Vallarie Kharshiing lodged a complaint that on Febrary 19, around 3 am, two persons were apprehended while they were attempting to commit theft from the shop of the complainant at Bishnupur.

Duped
Macmillan D Lyngdoh lodged a complaint that on November 1, 2019, one Andrew Charles Gare cheated him of Rs. 80,000 by promising to provide him coal mining challans at Hotel Alpine Continental, Shillong.

Cattle seized
SN Biswas, MCP Commander, 97 Bn BSF, Sonapur Bridge, East Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on February 17, around 10 pm, BSF personnel detected one truck (AS-18C-3074) illegally transporting 30 numbers of cattle suspected to be stolen. In this connection, three persons, namely, Rijaul Ali (30) Aminul Islam (29) and a sixteen-year-old boy, all from Assam, were apprehended.
