Ganja-laden vehicle seized
On February 20 morning, Police from Umroi PIC, Ri Bhoi, detected one truck (KJ-02-CD-0183) driven by Manmeet Singh (33) while transporting 33 packets, weighing 385 kg, of suspected Ganja.


Theft
Suraj Sunar lodged a complaint that on February 19 around 7 pm, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05-H-1492) from near Majestic Hotel,

Polo.
Raxwel R Marak lodged a complaint that on February 16, miscreants broke into his house in EGH and stole cash amounting to Rs 80,000.


Coal-laden truck seized
On February 17, Police detected one abandoned truck (AS-09-AC-1147) at Rongakgre NH-44E, EGH and during inquiry, it was found that the truck was loaded with coal and was attempting to proceed towards Assam via Chiading, EGH. The truck was then seized and brought to Chiading PS for further necessary action.


Fraud
Sujit Bhowmik lodged a complaint that on February 2, his driver, viz. Prosenjit Porel parked his truck (WB-17N-2083) at Star Cement Parking Lot, EJH, and sold off two pairs of tyre for Rs 1,20,000 and fled away, leaving the truck at the spot.
