KSU members summoned for statements

SHILLONG: The Khasi Student’s Union (KSU) members who were summoned on Tuesday were called only for taking statements, a police official said.
“Whether they are involved or not is a separate issue but they were called for taking statements”, the official added. It was informed that they were called based on Section 41 A CrPC.
Asked if any of the members will be summoned again, the official said, “Not yet so far”.
It may be mentioned that Ostarnic Marbaniang and two KSU members, Gary Rinaldy Mawlieh and Johny Khongsit were summoned. All three also appeared.
