Jewellery heist at Army Major’s house
Maj. Sahil Grover of 47/02 Pine Walk, Rhino Point, lodged a complaint that on Sunday between 1.55-4.30 pm, unknown miscreant(s) broke into his residence and stole one pair of diamond Kadas valued around Rs. 2.75 lakh, one diamond Ngakurta valued around Rs 1 lakh, one diamond ring valued around Rs. 70,000, one pair of diamond tops valued around Rs. 60,000, gold necklace and earrings valued around Rs 1.5 lakh, three pairs of pendant sets valued around Rs 4.5 lakh, one gold locket valued around Rs. 30,000, silver ornaments valued around Rs. 20,000, etc.
Duped
Samson Jojowar lodged a complaint that on December 23 last, he received 11 phone calls from one unknown woman informing that reward points, valued around Rs. 10,000, accrued on his credit card, and asked about his above-mentioned card details and OTP. Later, the complainant learnt that Rs. 40,000 was unauthorisedly debited from his account.
Theft
Wanshailang Pakma lodged a complaint that on Sunday, unknown miscreant(s) stole his scooty (ML-11-1529), which was parked at his residence at Nongrimmaw, Block-C, Laitumkhrah.
Carmel Lyngdoh lodged a complaint that on February 28 between 11 am and 3.30 pm, unknown miscreant(s) broke into his residence at Lumshyiap, Golf Links, and stole computer, laptop, camera and a TV, total valued around Rs 1,23,000, and Rs 3,000 in cash.
Sushan Ranjan Das lodged a complaint that on February 25, unknown miscreant(s) broke into his office at Ichamati market, EKH, and stole land documents and documents of vehicle and and Rs. 12,000 in cash.
Ahit Kumar Banik lodged a complaint that on February 25, unknown miscreant(s) stole wires/electrical items from L&T site office, NEIGRIHMS.
Assault
Bineesh KP lodged a complaint that on February 29, unknown miscreants assaulted him with baton near Weiloi Bridge, Mawsynram, EKH.
