Coal-laden truck seized in EJH
Joshuwa Kharumnuid, Mines Royalty Inspector, Umkiang DMR Check Gate (East Jaintia Hills) lodged a complaint that on March 24 around 11 am, one truck (NL-01AD-8459) was detected while illegally transporting coal in violation of NGT order.

David Surong lodged a complaint that on March 21 at 8 pm, one miscreant was caught red-handed while attempting to commit theft from his vehicle (ML-05L-5358) which was parked at Oxford Hills, Shillong.

Ajoy Kumar Jain lodged a complaint that on March 21 around 2 am, four masked miscreants in a Maruti car armed with pistol and knife, looted fourteen cartons of IMFL, one mobile phone and cash of Rs 6,000 from the driver at Sonapur, NH-6 (EJH). The truck (AS-01DD-0575) driven by Relester Lawriniang was transporting 550 cantons of IFML from Guwahati towards Silchar, Assam.
