House gutted in Nongstoin

NONGSTOIN: A house was gutted at Tiehbah in Nongstoin after a fire broke out on Tuesday around 2.30 PM.
Sources informed that the house belonged to Enestar Nongphud and Sliartiris Khardewsaw.
All wooden structures, clothes and utensils among other items were reduced to ashes. It was also informed that the estimated loss due to the tragedy is not yet ascertained. However, there were no casualties reported in the incident. Sources informed that the mishap happened after children lighted fire for cooking.
The village secretary informed that the actual amount of loss will be submitted to the BDO for providing relief to the owners of the house.
