State police set up COVID-19 control room

Shillong: The office of the Director General of Police, Meghalaya informed that a state police COVID-19 control room which will be functioning round the clock has been setup, to render necessary assistance to the public.
In addition to the control room, a nodal police officer for each district has also been appointed to assist the public in need of assistance.
The state police COVID-19 control room consist of nodal officer- H Toi Dy. Inspector General of Police (Trg & L&O) assisted by Herbert G Lyngdoh, MPS, Superintendent of Police (EOW), Shillong and Vivek Syiem, Superintendent of Police (Anti-Infil Dte.), Shillong.
