IMA launches ‘Masks4Arunachal’ campaign

GUWAHATI: Indian Medical Association, Arunachal Pradesh Chapter has launched ‘Masks4-Arunachal’ campaign to sensitise the people of the sparsely populated frontier hill state to wear face masks to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The initiative has been launched by the IMA chapter to ensure that 100 per cent people of the state start wearing masks to defeat the threat of the global pandemic.
A WHO estimate has put that if 80 per cent people on the globe wear masks then the virus can be defeated.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has appreciated the initiative of the IMA.
