KHLIEHRIAT: The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, in a statement, informed that all public curfew passes (green) issued will be countersigned by the Superintendent of Police (SP), East Jaintia Hills District except passes for “Government Official Duty” and “Essential Commodities Duty” (Yellow) in order to thwart the misuse of the passes by the public and to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The members of the public are instructed to collect the car passes immediately from the SP’s office which will be forwarded after due approval by the DC’s office.
