Rapsang refutes allegation, files FIR

SHILLONG: West Shillong MLA, Mohendro Rapsang has filed an FIR stating a message has gone viral on social media alleging that the Rap’s departmental store is closed due to reasons related to COVID-19.
The message which has gone viral stated that the owners of the departmental store were presumed to be in contact with a positive COVID-19 patient who died.
Rapsang while asking the police to investigate into the matter said that his family members have not been to Bethany Hospital and none of them were in contact with the deceased and his family members for the past months.
