Former Meghalaya Law Minister Ganold Stone Massar passes away

SHILLONG: Former Meghalaya Law Minister and a veteran legal counsel of the State, Ganold Stone Massar died here on Wednesday at a private nursing home.
He was suffering from illness for the last few days.
Massar had also served as Advocate General of Meghalaya for sometime. He practised in Gauhati High Court and Meghalaya High Court for over four decades. He was  the President of the High Court Bar Association for many terms and was associated with Shillong Law College as the President of the Governing body.
