Highway truck repair centres to remain open in SWGH

TURA: The District Magistrate, South West Garo Hills, has informed that workshops for  repair of trucks on National and State Highways within South West Garo Hills district are exempted from the purview of the order promulgated under 144CrPC in Ampati agglomeration and the villages of the district.
However, the workshops are to maintain proper hygiene practices in observance and compliances of strict protocols and advisories issued by the government of Meghalaya in respect of social distancing, wearing of masks and no spitting in public places.
