PCI wants panel of health experts

SHILLONG: The General Assembly of Presbyterian Church of India has asked the state government to set up a panel of healthcare professionals to follow up on protocols of directives and advisories in order to free the state from the clutches of COVID-19.
While lauding the efforts of the government, the assembly suggested that a COVID-19 monitoring panel be constituted to comprehensively frame proper modalities and guidelines with regard to COVID-19.
The monitoring panel, according to the assembly, can comprise of public representatives, bureaucrats, legal experts, church leaders or religious leaders and social organisations.
