TURA: The state government on Monday converted the Tura Civil Hospital as COVID-19 hospital for focused treatment of any suspected and infected patients.
Following this, the Superintendent of Tura Civil Hospital informed that all general patients including emergency cases will now be treated at Christian Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital in Tura.
Further, since the two hospitals mentioned above are empanelled for MHIS, the patients can avail the MHIS facilities in these hospitals. Those without the MHIS card can make a new card to avail the facility instantly at the respective private hospitals.
Moreover, if the patients at the private hospitals need specialised consultations, then the authority of the respective private hospital can call the specialist of Tura Civil Hospital who will attend to the patients, the notification added.
