16-year-old girl tests COVID-19 positive in Assam, tally up to 36

Guwahati, 28 April: A 16-year-old girl from Salmara in Bongaingaon district Assam, secondary contact of an attendee of Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin Markaz, has tested COVID-19 positive. The number of patients in Assam now stands at 36. However, active COVID-19 cases in hospitals in the state are 8. It has been informed by state Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.
