584 samples collected in Arunachal

Itanagar: A total of 584 samples have been collected so far for suspected COVID-19 for laboratory testing in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to a bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services on Monday, of the 584 samples, 522 tested negative and more 44 on repeat tests while the results of 16 awaited.
It may be mentioned that the lone COVID-19 positive patient was discharged from a hospital on April 17, after he had tested negative twice.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Pema Khandu attended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s video conference with Chief Minister’s of all state to discuss the situation arising due to the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
“Thanks to decisive leadership of PM @narendramodi Ji in fight against #coronavirus. Doubling rate has slowed down to 9.1 days. PM’s regular review of corona situation has slowed infection rate to flatten the curve,” Khandu said in a social media post. (UNI)
