SHILLONG: NEIGRIHMS, which is one of the testing centres for COVID-19, has not faced any issues regarding inaccuracy of samples.
“Sometimes we do get rare inaccurate results for different tests and we accordingly take necessary measures,” NEIGRIHMS director Dr DM Thappa said.
Earlier, concerns were raised about the nature of samples sent to Barpeta for testing.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will inaugurate the telemedicine centre in NEIGRIHMS on Wednesday
Thappa said telemedicine can be of great help for the patients as they can be diagnosed for many diseases through the system and treatment can also be done.
He also said the test reports of the patient can be shared through the system.
