No central flag hoisting on May Day: TUs

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Joint Council of Trade Unions and Associations (MJCTU & A), the apex body of all trade unions and associations in the state, has announced that all its associated units will hoist the May Day flag in their respective work places and the central flag hoisting and workers rally for May Day 2020 in the state will not be conducted due to the pandemic.
However, the affiliated unions and associations shall hoist the May Day flag in their work places which are operational and also preferably in their respective residences.
MJCTU&A has adopted May Day Declaration 2020 and the same shall be displayed by the unions and associations in their work places which are operational.
